Convention Service Management professionals at hotels, centers, and bureaus contribute to a meaningful and successful event for you and your attendees. A strong working relationship between the CSM and the meeting professional is vital to the success of any meeting. ACOM, the Association for Convention Operations Management, is dedicated to advancing the practice of convention services management (CSM) in the meetings industry, and preparing CSM professionals for their critical role in partnering with planners for the success of meetings and events. ACOM members hold many positions in convention and visitors bureaus, convention centers, conference centers and hotels.

This year, ACOM and PCMA will once again partner to offer you the opportunity to explore and improve your relationship with CSMs. Programming at both the PCMA and ACOM Annual Meetings will include sessions geared toward establishing better relationships within the meetings marketplace. As a PCMA Annual Meeting registrant, you are invited to attend the ACOM Annual Conference on Sunday, January 13, 2008, as part of your PCMA registration fee. ACOM sessions will be held at the Westin Seattle.

While improving your knowledge of the meetings industry, you will also earn valuable CEUs toward your CMP certification. It’s a full day of extra, value-added sessions at no additional cost to you!
