Chapter Volunteer & Leadership Events

Participate in PCMA’s Annual Meeting events for Chapter leaders and volunteers. Learn how to become more involved in PCMA, gain leadership skills, and broaden your network. Become energized by your peers and fellow Chapter members! PCMA’s 16 Chapters provide many opportunities for member involvement. Current volunteers and those looking to become involved should plan to take advantage of all the Annual Meeting has to offer our Chapter volunteers.

  Current Chapter Leaders and those interested in becoming more involved should plan to attend this high-energy, educational event. The program starts at breakfast with PCMA’s Board of Directors then Chapter Leaders will join L(earn)² facilitators to evaluate common obstacles and share proven solutions to the operation of their local Chapters.

  Workshop participants will separate into breakouts to address the following topics:

  Membership Recruitment & Retention:
  What are the best tactics for recruiting prospective new members and retaining your present ones? Do you know how to promote volunteer opportunities and engage future chapter leaders? Gain insight on the strategies and tools to enhance your member’s experiences.  

   

  Attendance Building:
  Are you Sleepless in Seattle? Have you found yourself awake at night worrying about meeting your attendance goals for your next Chapter event? Have you effectively utilized the marketing tools available to promote the event successfully? Explore attendance building strategies and tools available from PCMA headquarters to drive attendance and increase revenue.

   

  Chapter Education & Programming:
  How can you create valuable programs or event for your chapter ? Do you know which topics are of interest to your attendees and who the hottest speakers are who speak to that topic? Examine the chapter leader tools that are available to you to execute solid Chapter programming.

   

  Chapter Leadership Development:

  Do you know how to attract and keep great volunteers within your Chapter?  Are you engaging your membership base and creating opportunities for future leaders? Explore the factors that keep volunteers engage and techniques to identify potential leaders. 

  The program closes with a networking lunch for faculty and Chapter Leaders. Be sure to check the box on the registration form if you plan to attend the Chapter volunteer and leadership events on Sunday!
